The Night Visiting Song

Riley Piddington playing Guitar & singing The Night Visiting Song,  a wonderful old Scottish song, with Deborah Mairs on Tin Whistle, Sam Fleming on Northumbrian Pipes & Dick Glasgow on English Concertina.

This song was first recorded in Scotland back in 1961 by Archie & Ray Fisher on their EP 'Far Over the Forth' on which the notes state that song they sing on the record ~ '.. is a composite version from field-recordings made by Hamish Henderson.'
